Distribution of heating materials for relief camps in Syria:
The impact of the siege and war that Syria is going through on all aspects of life: educational, health, economic, agricultural, industrial and living, has deprived them of securing the necessities of life for themselves.
This necessitated a large number of them to flee and take shelter in camps in safer areas. However, these camps lack various needs, and this shortage appears clearly with the winter season and the cold and rain it brings. The bad situation is limited to being in the camps. Rather, the high cost of basic materials for the winter, such as heating materials and fuel, has deprived the breadwinner of heating his tent. All of this has left our people in the camps in a deplorable state.
Heating materials distribution project:
In the interest of securing one of the most important needs of our displaced brothers in the camps, and desiring to make them feel warm and not suffer from the freezing cold, "Sanabel of Hope" launched a project to distribute heating materials to the camps in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
The project is based on the purchase of 100 tons of coal to be distributed to approximately 800 families living in camps who suffer from poor living conditions.
Where 10 tons were distributed during the first phase to families at a rate of 5 bags per family, bringing the number of beneficiary families so far to 80 families, or approximately 400 beneficiaries.
The Syrian Camps Relief Project restores warmth to souls:
During our movement between the tents to see the needs of the families there, we met one of the mothers who told us about the suffering of the winter and she said, "We thank God for everything that happened and we ask Him for the imminent relief. It is not difficult for a father or mother to feel that their children are in dire need of something necessary and they stand unable to provide it," she continues, saying, "I see my children." They shiver in the cold, and I can only find these worn-out rags to cover them with at night.
The importance of the heating materials distribution project:
This project contributes to providing the necessary supplies in the winter season for 800 families, and helps the breadwinner to secure the necessities of living for his family. It also played a major role in making many families feel warm, which protected them from death or illness as a result of the cold.
